The weather in Chicago has been heating up and I’ve been looking for ways to cool down in the kitchen. For me, the easiest way to do this is with a quick and easy breakfast smoothie each morning. This particular smoothie features fresh raw spinach, frozen fruit, and ground flax seed. I find that this recipe serves as a refreshing and filling meal-in-a-cup — a perfect way to start a hot July day!
The best thing about this recipe is that it’s quick to make and take with you to work. Give it a try this week and let me know what you think!
